Main Inlet Valve
Main inlet valve in a hydro power station is used as a safety device and located within the power house on the upstream side.
Spherical valves are guarding hydraulic structures used for high pressure without any head losses when the water is passing through the rotor. They are used as gates and emergency devices at the turbine inlet or at the water intakes. Our spherical valve covers diameter range from 200 to 3000 mm and pressure ratings up to 200 bar. The valve opening is realized with a hydraulic cylinder and the closing is with a counterweight.
Butterfly valves are used as safety hydraulic systems for low or medium pressure with a minimum head loss when the water is passing through the rotor. They are used as gates and emergency devices at the turbine inlet or at the intakes. Our butterfly valve covers diameter range from 200 to 4000 mm and pressure ratings up to 64 bar.
